  Severely unstaffed. Spent 35 minutes without any food, not even the free bread. Had to go find my own waiter and didn't even get water for 15 minutes. No idea if the food is any good. Left before anything came out, couldn't wait any longer.

  My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant in hopes to find a new spot to frequent. A pro is there is a parking lot for the restaurant itself which is convenient seeing how it's in the busy part of gulfport and the bread loaf is "interesting". Now for the cons: When we walked in, the restaurant smelled like a thrift store which was slightly off-putting since we were there to eat. Pretty much the whole restaurant was empty and the hostess took about 5 minutes to walk around to find a seat for us (we did make reservations). We were placed in the back room in the corner next to the speaker which had very loud music to where our waiter mentioned how loud it was and said he would turn it down but never did. All of the tables had large plates in each spot which made no room for the plates brought to the table, not to mention there was food stuck to my plate but luckily I never used it. I love sauerbraten and I was excited to see that they had it on the menu. it was $22 so I was expecting to get a larger portion then I received. The entree said that it would come with vegetables, a starch, and a salad. I had asked if there was an up-charge for getting a soup instead of a salad and he said he would not charge me if that's what I wanted. My boyfriend also got an entree which said it came with a salad bit he did not receive on when I got my soup (lobster bisque which was awful) and the waiter said "oh did you want a salad?" The waiter did not give us an option to choose any of the sides in the entree. When we received the entree is had a very small scoop of rice, an even smaller scoop of red cabbage and sauerkraut with 2 slices of carrots that were soaked in marachino cherries. Was not filling nor tasty. When the check came the soup was on the it so we had to let the waiter know and he said that the hostess didn't know and he will let her know to take it off. The hostess and waiter were helping us back and forth throughout the experience so I'm not surprised there was little communication. Thank goodness we had a Groupon so we didn't pay as much as we would have. All in all it was not a pleasant experience and we will not be going back again. Would not recommend. Also the picture advertised on Groupon of the food is misleading. They do not even have lamb/pork chops on the menu and the atmosphere has an extremely different vibe.
